If you only have single phase power but need a large volume of air at higher pressure, the Peerless PT35HP high pressure model could be the solution. It is designed using two 2065T pumps and two 3.5 HP motors, and produces around 600 litres of free air per minute, making it well suited to truck tyre inflation. The pumps are set to restart 5 PSI apart and require two dedicated 15 Amp power plugs back to your fuse box, so it is very important the machine is wired correctly to avoid motor failure. Ongoing servicing that alternates the primary and secondary pumps is required to keep wear even.
