PEERLESS Black 2000 Oil-less Compressors

The Peerless Black 2000 is a super light, super quiet oil-less air compressor, the builder's choice for framing work. Producing 65 litres per minute of free air delivery, it suits intermittent air tools such as framing and finishing guns rather than continuous use. It revs slowly at 1350RPM and draws fewer amps than most direct drives, which spin at around 2850RPM and pull 8 amps or more. Heavy duty Teflon technology helps it average 2000 or more hours before a service is due.

Its light, compact design makes it easy to carry between jobs and simple to store, and it is available in three configurations: the standard 9 litre, the 5 litre Tubie, and the XL with a 24 litre receiver and a fitted electronic auto drain. Where more air is needed, such as for a coil nailer, we recommend stepping up to the belt driven PB14000. As with all piston compressors, run the machine within its duty cycle, and check that site voltage stays above 230 volts, using extra air hose rather than long extension leads to avoid voltage drop.
