KOLOR KUT Modified Water Finding Paste for Bio Ethanol Fuels

Kolor Kut Modified Water Finding Paste is used to test for the presence of miscible water in bio-ethanol and petrol (gasoline) blends. It is suitable only for use with reformulated and oxygenated fuels such as ethanol, MTBE and ether. Applied to a spatula or a clean dip stick and inserted into a fuel sample, the brown paste changes to brilliant red if it detects miscible water in the fuel. Phase separated alcohol solutions with as little as 6% water will turn the paste yellow.
