FILTER BREATHER DONALDSON TRAP DN40 (1 1/2") F BSP

The Donaldson P506159 DN40 (1 1/2") TRAP breather is designed for installation on bulk diesel, lubricant and hydraulic tanks to remove particulate and moisture from air entering the tank during dispensing. It combines a high capacity 3 micron air filter with a deliquescent breather that regenerates itself when air is expelled from the tank, and the self regenerating moisture blocking capability of T.R.A.P. enables extended life and functionality. Donaldson T.R.A.P. breathers strip moisture vapour from intake air and expel it back to the atmosphere on the outflow cycle, continuously regenerating their water holding capacity so there is no need to change the breather due to water saturation, unlike desiccant filters. For every litre of liquid dispensed from a tank or drum, a litre of moisture and dust laden air enters the vessel, and the TRAP breather filters that air to protect the cleanliness of the stored liquid.
