The Story

A strainer prevents foreign objects from entering the pump and provides the first stage of filtration. Using and maintaining Graco strainers and filters extends the life of your equipment and reduces project downtime, and they are designed for easy field replacement, so it is worth keeping a spare strainer, manifold filter and gun filter on every project. In a standard airless system the paint passes through three filters before atomisation, the inlet screen, the pump filter and the gun filter, with the first the largest and the last the smallest.
