This Mirka pad saver can be used on any 81 x 133mm sander with a hook-and-loop backing pad, sitting between the abrasive and the backing pad. As the name suggests it is sacrificial, protecting the hook-and-loop face and the edges of the backing pad from wear when sanding aggressively and continuously with net products.
Placed between the backing pad and the sanding sheet, the pad saver should be changed regularly to prolong the life of the backing pad. Its multiple holes maintain strong suction and dust extraction, making it well suited to Abranet mesh abrasives, and it can be used on Mirka and non-Mirka sanders alike. Supplied as a 5-pack.
