A useful addition to any spray extension, the Graco CleanShot Shut-Off Valve uses a needle valve that shuts fluid off right at the tip for a clean spray pattern without spitting. A 180 degree tip swivel adds versatility when spraying walls and ceilings.
If you use a tip extension longer than 40cm, the CleanShot is worth considering. Beyond 40cm a back pressure build-up between the gun needle and the tip can cause spitting when you stop spraying, which compromises the finish. By shutting paint flow off at the tip rather than at the gun, the CleanShot mitigates this and keeps fine finish work clean on skirtings, trim, doors, ceilings, walls and roofs.
