Choosing the correct hose diameter for your length is important for maximising spraying pressure. A larger hose diameter gives greater pressure at the gun, while a smaller diameter or a longer length reduces pressure at the gun and can affect spray patterns. When coupling hoses, connect the larger diameter hose to the sprayer and the smaller diameter hose to the gun inlet, and use a whip hose for flexibility. The range covers 3/16 in (4.8 mm), 1/4 in (6.4 mm) and 3/8 in (9.5 mm) diameters, each suited to different applications.
