GO Fire Rated Self Bunded Tanks

GO Industrial designs, manufactures and markets a comprehensive range of Fire Rated (Vaulted) Self Bunded Tanks approved to AS1940-2017 Section 5.9.4 and UL2085 listed. The design features a Fire Resistance Level (FRL) of 240 / 240 / 240, holding the contents of the primary tank using lightweight fireproofing materials integral to the interstitial space in a fire engulfment situation.

The unique manufacturing method allows both the primary (inner) and secondary (outer) tanks to be fully pressure tested at the factory during construction, ensuring the integrity of the tank design. The lightweight fireproofing materials also allow liquid to migrate through to the monitoring tube, so leaks from the inner tank are detected. Being rectangular, the range is space-saving in design.

Both diesel and petrol can be stored indoors when using a GO Fire Rated Self Bunded Tank, and separation distances are reduced under AS1940-2017. Where petrol or diesel is stored, a dispenser may be mounted on the tank provided it is suitable for the hazardous area around the tank.
